Settings.
1. Streaming settings
Streaming settings are incredibly important for your stream! They should be fine tuned depending on your PC specs and upload speed.
Sadly there is no good formula for everyone but Bebo's technology compares your PC to other users PCs and does most of the hard work for you :D At the moment Bebo selects the encoding automatically* between CPU and GPU, this will depend if your GPU has encoding option. In my case, it doesn't. *(note: you can't change between software and hardware encoding yet, but you can ask the developers to change the option for you). Recommended settings for non-partners:
Is your stream laggy or pixelated? Check this article |
2. Microphone settings
Sound is probably the second most important element of your stream after the video.
Once you have added your microphone in the editor and adjusted the volume, you can go to settings and add a Noise Gate. Set the Noise Gate at the minimum sound you want your microphone to pic up. It will help reduce some background noise. There is also use the "Test Microphone" feature that will allow you to test your microphone sound and volume before you go live. The rest of the features will be coming up in the future, also be aware that any 3rd party software, related to the microphone, is not supported at the moment. They might or might not work and create unexpected problems, these software will be supported in the future :D |
3. Twitch Channel
This part is just the Title and Game that you are streaming.
Write a catchy title, add the name of the game you are playing and click Update Channel. All done. You can also change the game and title of the stream in the area at the bottom right of Bebo that says Channel Info. Another cool feature is automatic game change when you select a new game. Yes, as you hear it. If in the middle of the stream you change the game, you just need to select the new game in Bebo and the game on Twitch will change automatically, How cool is that? |
4. Hotkeys
Hotkeys are a great way to get around your scenes and do some quick actions without having to look at the app. Using them makes the stream look more professional.
The Audio Hotkey will mute and unmute your microphone and comes by default Ctrl + M. However you can edit it here and even delete it. You can swiftly move between scenes with hotkeys too! You can add the Hotkeys when you create the scene or later on here, also edit and clear them. You can make combos with Ctrl, Alt and Shift plus a letter or a number*. (*note: if you choose a number, remember that the numbers in the numpad won't work) |
